The beaches of Cancun are recognized worldwide for their turquoise blue colors, crystal clear water, and white sand, and within those beaches, one that is among the favorites of the local and national population who visit this area is Playa Delfines.

Playa Delfines has an area of ​​30 kilometers with a medium swell, ideal for various water activities such as parasailing, kite surfing, or surfing, although this without ceasing to be a quiet and safe area to enjoy with family and children since it is supervised by lifeguards during daylight hours.

This beautiful beach has various amenities and free services as well as umbrellas, parking, a children’s area, an outdoor gym so that you have various activities to enjoy, keep in mind that it is a very busy beach and to enjoy these services it is recommended arrive early.

There is an erroneous belief around the web that Playa Delfines got its name from the possibility of seeing these majestic creatures in the mornings from the shore of the beach, the reality is that when the tourist boom began in Cancun in the 70s, the names of they were taken based on the natural characteristics of the areas, although some were taken randomly in the master plan, although the animals mentioned cannot be seen from these areas (other examples are Playa Tortugas or Playa Ballenas). However, at least 4 different species of turtles spawn on this beach between May and September.
